In general, the common future of humanity is shaped around a vision based on justice, peace and love; It is especially important to focus on studies aimed at improving the experience of living together with all the differences of the Muslim world. In this context, it is necessary to develop new international organizations that take into account current conditions in order to raise awareness within the projects carried out to ensure healthy communication and interaction both internally and externally within the Islamic civilization and between them.
Muslims have accumulated an enormous amount of knowledge over many centuries. In order for this accumulation to contribute to coexistence, there is a need to re-investigate it and put it at the service of humanity. In the context of meeting this need, the first International Symposium on “The Practice of Coexistence in Islamic Culture” between two brother countries, Türkiye and Azerbaijan, was held by Kırıkkale University Faculty of Islamic Sciences and Azerbaijan Institute of Theology on 20-21 September 2022 in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan. Considering the importance of the subject, it was proposed to hold the second Symposium in 2023, hosted by Kırıkkale University, and the Symposium was held on 5-7 October 2023. In this event, it was decided to hold the third Symposium, which aims to improve relations between Muslim countries, hosted by Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University (UIN Sunan Kalijaga) in Yokyakarta / Indonesia on 28-30 May 2024.
This event, which aims to contribute to scientific, political, social and individual studies about the experience of living together in Islamic Civilization, will also further develop friendship and brotherhood relations between Muslim countries, especially Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Indonesia.
